Staff Happenings

I lot of fun activities last month that helped bring our team together even more.
The week of May 6-10, we celebrated Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week. Throughout the week, children and parents showed their appreciation by bringing in flowers, snacks, and cards.  Teachers and staff were presented with books made by their students stating why they are thankful for their teachers. To end the week, each staff member and teacher was given a bag full of a variety of goodies! The children carried the bags and delivered them to their teacher. A special thank you to all the staff at Children’s Village for the positive impact you have on the lives of each child here!
The staff got together for Esthers wedding shower.
Children’s Village said good-bye to one of our teachers, Dane. The pre-k children sang a few songs while the rest of the children and staff sat under the shady trees, eating “fruitcicles”.  Rooms 1 and 3 presented a cake they made in class to Dane. All the children hugged him and said “We will miss you!” Thank you to Teacher Dane for all you have done for the school and best wishes in your future!
