Northwood is a residential neighborhood in Irvine, California. Northwood was initially planned as a golf course community and has experienced significant growth since the 1990s. Northwood offers an excellent location for commuters with its proximity to John Wayne Airport and major highways such as Interstate 5 and Highway 133. One of Irvine’s most prestigious schools, Woodbridge School of Orange County, is located on the east side of Northwood near the intersection of Jeffrey Road and Michelson Drive.
