Happy National Play-Doh Day! Today, Children’s Village Preschool friends explored science by mixing colors, experimenting with textures, and observing how playdough changes when shaped or combined all while exploring concepts of cause and effect. Children practiced math by measuring ingredients, counting pieces, creating patterns, comparing sizes, and building shapes, turning simple play into hands-on problem solving. And through all the squishing, rolling, and molding, children strengthened fine motor skills essential for writing, cutting, and self-help tasks. Playdough makes learning hands-on, creative, and full of discovery!
