During Community Helper Month, our children explored the many ways people help keep our community safe, healthy, and connected. A firefighter named Juliana who is an alumni of our schools, visited to talk about fire safety, our (TK) Transitional Kindergarten class walked to the local post office to mail letters, and a team from Villa Park Dental Care came to teach us about the importance of brushing and caring for our teeth. These experiences help children learn about the important roles community helpers play in our everyday lives.
