Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the world’s largest early childhood education association. The purpose of the Week of the Young Child is to focus public attention on the needs of young children, their families and to recognize the early childhood programs providing services to them.
Monday the 11th: Silly Dress Day (mismatch colors, clothes and socks, backwards clothes, etc. Get creative!)
Tuesday the 12th: Crazy Hair and/or Crazy Hat Day
Wednesday the 13th: Pajama Day & Art & Sensory Workshop (Messy Exploration!)
Thursday the 14th: Pajama Day & Art & Sensory Workshop (Messy Exploration!)
Friday the 15th: School Spirit Day (School-T-Shirt or The Color Green) & Fashion Show while on the yard
